THE IMPORTANCE OF LANGUAGE IN OUR LIFE

Language is our primary source of communication. It’s a method through which we share our ideas and thoughts with others.

Language is an abstract system of symbols and their meanings. This system includes grammar which relates to words and meanings so that we can communicate with each other.

As language plays a very important role in the development of a person’s personality. Rita Mae Brown said, “Language is the road map of a culture. It tells you where its people come from and where they are going. Language is a divine gift of the God.Without language we cannot communicate with people. In today’s era it is compulsory to learn at least two languages. Knowing a language is not only a means of communication, but it builds economic relationships, friendships and cultural ties also .”

John Stuart Mill referred the language to the light of the mind.

  1. Seema mam but today English is seen as a class.
i am not pointing at your views on language and its even true that a person must be duo lingo.
people who speak Hindi are treated as low class.and people who speak in fluent English are treated nicely and given more importance. elsewhere it just a way of communication. and people now a days match it to the intelligence.what a serious joke, which directly people feel in a inferiority complex.
ma'm people of japan are most technical advance people on earth.its because they never compromised with their culture and language.they created computer with Japanese language built in them.thats the main reason even the children of japan has a super special knowledge in computer field which is equivalent and sometimes superior then our computer teachers.
i would just like to end up with few bullet points
-AGAR APNI MATRABHASHA BOLNE VALA INSAAN GAWAR HOTA TO..SABSE BADE GWAR ANGREZ HOTE.
-Mr Bachchan and his whole family has a rule that in their home speaking hindi is compulsory.
SO the mentality among people has to be stopped and it can be and has to be started from education hub i.e schools
