MSFS: Shaping Confident Futures

When teachers step into a classroom, they do not just teach subjects, they prepare lives. But is knowledge alone enough to face the world? The answer is ‘no’. Confidence, grace, and character are equally important. This is where MSFS – MS Finishing School shines as a unique gift to our school community.

MSFS is not about adding ‘extra lessons’, it is about adding the final touch of excellence. Through activities that build communication, social etiquette, grooming, leadership, and emotional intelligence, our students learn to carry themselves with poise in every sphere of life.

Imagine a student who can speak confidently on stage, greet people with courtesy, present themselves with dignity, and handle challenges with calmness, that’s the true vision of MSFS. It ensures that when our learners step beyond school gates, they don’t just carry report cards, but also refinement, readiness, and resilience.

But the impact of MSFS does not stop at students alone. It also gives teachers a mirror of reflection – guiding them on how to carry themselves, how to model the very values they wish to see in their learners, and how to leave a lasting impression on every young mind they teach. In many ways, MSFS is a shared journey of growth, helping both students and teachers walk the path of elegance and purpose together.

What makes MSFS truly unique is its wholeness, it doesn’t teach etiquette in fragments, but in every aspect of life. From how we start our day with positivity, to how we live it with grace, and even how we end it with gratitude – MSFS ensures that each person carries an aura of dignity that makes them, and those around them, feel good.

The true strength of MSFS lies in its vision. And here, we must extend our heartfelt gratitude to our honourable Chairman, whose foresight gave birth to this remarkable initiative. It is his belief that education must go beyond textbooks and prepare individuals, students and teachers alike, for the global stage.

Every session at MSFS echoes his vision, whether it is teaching table etiquette, polishing communication skills, or instilling confidence and compassion. Each of these is a step towards shaping futures that are not only successful, but also graceful and grounded.

As teachers, we feel proud to witness this transformation. And as a school, we feel blessed to have leadership that understands that while academics make a student knowledgeable, it is confidence, courtesy, and character that make a student unforgettable.

At MSFS, we don’t just finish lessons, we continue to shape lives, with gratitude to the vision that made it possible.

The Day I Stole the Show

Hello everyone!

I am Tanika, and I want to share one of the most magical moments of my school life.

It all began one fine morning when our teacher, Mr Arpit Sharma, called me and said, “Tanika, you have to perform in the English Skit Competition 2025.” My eyes sparkled instantly, acting has always been my dream, and this was the opportunity I had been waiting for!

Our skit, titled ‘The Lost Tiara,’ was based on a fascinating folk tale from Sikkim. Under the guidance of our skit in-charges, Ms Bela Shanker and Mr Arpit Sharma, we, a team of 14 students, began rehearsals. Each practice session was filled with energy, creativity, and laughter. I was determined to give my best and make my dream come alive on stage.

Finally, the much-awaited day arrived. When the curtains opened, our team brought The Lost Tiara to life. With every dialogue and expression, I forgot myself and became the character I was portraying. The audience clapped, laughed, and stayed hooked to every moment. I felt like I was flying high, powered by their cheers!

And then came the announcement, out of the three skits performed that day, ours was declared the winner! My happiness knew no bounds. But the biggest surprise was still waiting for me… I was awarded the Best Actor Award!

When I went to receive the certificate, the Principal smiled and said, “I will not allow you in future events.” My heart almost stopped, but then he added, “Because you always steal the show with your performance.” That moment made me feel on top of the world.

Since childhood, I have loved singing, dancing, painting, and above all, acting. This award has given me the confidence to dream bigger and chase my passion to be on stage, telling stories that touch hearts.

A Big Thank You

I want to thank my teachers for guiding me, my 13 teammates for always supporting me, the Headmistress Primary School for motivating me, the Principal for encouraging me, and of course, my parents who cheer for me the most.

It was truly the day I stole the show!
